Wild Rice Waldorf Salad Recipe

This Wild Rice Waldorf Salad Recipe combines apple, grapes, and slivered almonds with mayonnaise and yogurt for a great taste and a variety of textures. This simple Waldorf style salad recipe is easy to prepare and is great for any potluck or picnic.

If you have some left-over wild rice - that will work too.

The biggest chore for this wild rice Waldorf is dicing the apple and possibly cutting the grapes in half - but only if they are really large.

Gather up all the necessary recipe ingredients for your Wild Rice Waldorf Salad and any tools you will need.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) wild rice - cooked
  • 1 apple - diced
  • 1 cup (240 ml) seedless grapes
  • 1 cup (240 ml) celery - chopped
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml)  plain low fat yogurt
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) slivered almonds

Add the grapes.

Add the mayonnaise and the yogurt.

Add the slivered almonds.

Stir to blend all the recipe ingredients everything together.
