Whenever I cook or grill salmon for a dinner, I always make extra so that I can make this salmon dinner salad recipe the next day. We all love the combination of flavours and textures in this recipe.

This simple dinner recipe is a very easy to prepare seafood salad and creates a full hearty meal for lunch or a light dinner.

If you don't have any fresh cooked salmon - just open a can of salmon - it works just as well and tastes just as good in this simple dinner recipe.

Salmon Salad Recipe for Dinner

Salmon Dinner Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 Romaine heart or iceberg - shredded or torn
  • 1/2 English cucumber - sliced and halved
  • 8 grape tomatoes - halved
  • 2 cans salmon OR 2 cooked salmon steaks - flaked
  • 1 bunch green onions diced

Recipe Method:

1. Divide the lettuce among 4 lunch/salad plates.

2. Place the cucumber pieces around the edges.

3. Arrange the tomatoes halves around the edges.

4. Mound the salmon in the center.

5. Garnish with the diced green onions.

6. Serve your Dinner recipe with a variety of vinaigrettes for salad dressing
