This Red Bliss Potato Salad Recipe certainly deserves it name. The Honey Mustard dressing is perfect for serving this recipe alongside sausages or wieners.

Gather up all the recipe ingredients for the red bliss potato salad. Be sure to have the necessary tools handy, for this red bliss recipe.

Red Bliss Recipe Ingredients:

  • 2.5 lbs. (1130 gr) little red bliss potato
  • 1 green onion - diced
  • 1 tbsp. (15 ml) lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) dill paste of chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) garlic paste or crushed garlic clove
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) honey Dijon Mustard
  • 5-6 slices cooked bacon - diced (optional)

In a medium size pot, cover the potatoes with water and bring to a boil. Cook until a potato can be easily pierced with the tip of a knife.

Drain the red bliss potatoes and hold them under cold running water to cool down.

Place them in a medium sized bowl.

While the potatoes are cooking - you can dice up the cooked bacon (if using)

Dice up the green onions.

Add the bacon and onions to the bowl of potatoes.

Add the lemon juice.

Add the garlic paste

Add the dill paste

Add the honey mustard to create the bliss.

Stir to blend all the red bliss recipe ingredients together.

Cover and refrigerate your red bliss potato salad for at least a few hours for the flavours to penetrate the potatoes.
