How to make endive cups
for appetizers

Endive leaves are perfect for how to make endive cups. These make cute little canoes for holding all kinds of sweet or savoury treats - suitable as appetizers or sides any time of year.

Step 1

  1. Remove any bad outer leaves and discard.
  2. Trim the butt end off and discard.

Step 2

  1. Gently remove the endive leaves, (as many as you will need for your cups) and place them in a bowl of cold water.

Step 3

  1. Submerge the endive leaves and swish them around, to be sure they are clean.
  2. We don't want any grit in our cups.

Step 4

  1. Remove the endive leaves from the water and place them on a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.

Step 5

  1. Thoroughly dry the endive leaves or cups with paper towels.

Step 6

  1. Arrange the cups on a platter and fill with your choice of treats.
