Honey Vinaigrette Recipe

Just shake it up. That's a Honey Vinaigrette Recipe - simple and quick. This easy honey vinaigrette is flavourful enough to be used on vegetable salads and pasta salads too. The honey infuses a slight sweetness which appeals to children (and many adults too). I'm sure your family will love it and that you'll be making it quite often.



Recipe for Honey Vinaigrette

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) tarragon vinegar
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) olive oil
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) liquid honey
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 bay leaves
  • ½ tsp. (2.5 ml) salt
  • ¼ tsp. (1.25 ml) pepper
  • ¼ tsp. (1.25) oregano
  • ¼ tsp. (1.25 ml) thyme

 



Method:

1. Place all ingredients in a tightly sealed jar (I use a mason jar for this)

2. Shake vigorously till all ingredients appear to be combined.

3. Allow to sit in refrigerator over-night for the flavours to infuse.

4. Remove the garlic cloves and bay leaves before serving and reshake.


Recipe Yield: This Honey Vinaigrette produces about 1 1/2 cups.
