With only a few ingredients this Easy Green Bean Salad Recipe can be prepared in a real hurry. The simple vinaigrette suits the easy bean salad perfectly.

This easy salad recipe is even better the second day - so it is a great simple recipe to prepare in advance.

Gather up the Easy Green Bean  recipe ingredients, the necessary tools and a medium sized bowl.

Easy Green Bean Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 can (400 ml) green bean cuts
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) cider vinegar OR white vinegar
  • 2 tsp (10 ml) parsley - chopped OR Parsley paste
  • salt & pepper to taste.

Drain and rinse the canned green beans. The purpose of rinsing them is to remove any excess sodium. Allow to drain thoroughly.

Place the drained green bean cuts into the recipe bowl.

Thinly slice the 1/2 of a red onion and then cut the slices in half.

Add the red onion pieces to the green bean cuts in the recipe bowl.

Add the parsley OR parsley paste, the Olive oil and vinegar.

Stir well to combine all the easy green bean salad ingredients.

Taste test - adjust with salt & pepper.
