This Deluxe Deviled Eggs Recipe includes diced celery for some crunch and green onions for flavour. A touch of hot pepper sauce really livens it all up and makes it deluxe. So get your party shoes ready - here we come.
This deluxe recipe only calls for 6 eggs which will yield a dozen deviled eggs. If you want more - you can easily double this deluxe recipe or even quadruple it for a large gang.
• 6 eggs – hard boiled
• 1/2 stalk celery - finely diced
• 1/4 onion - finely diced
• 1/4 cup (120 ml) mayonnaise
• salt to taste
• 1 dash hot pepper sauce
• Paprika - for garnish
Crack & peel the hard boiled eggs. Discard the shells. Cut the eggs in half - lengthwise.
Remove the yolks and place them into a small bowl. Gently place the whites on a plate or serving platter.
Blend the mayonnaise with the egg yolks. Use a fork to break up any lumps. You want to achieve a creamy paste.
Add the celery, onions and a dash of hot sauce. Mix well.
Taste test the recipe mixture - add salt and more hot sauce if desired.
Use a heaping kitchen teaspoonful to stuff the deluxe recipe mix into the whites.
Garnish your deluxe deviled eggs with a dash of paprika.
