Creamy Tuna Pasta Salad

The combination in this Creamy Tuna Pasta Salad provides a hearty meal in one dish or it can be used as a side dish at a BBQ or family gathering.

The tuna provides Omega-3, the cheese provides protein, the celery provides crunch, the chives provide flavour and the low-fat mayo binds it all together with a creamy dressing.






Collect all the ingredients for your Creamy Tuna Pasta as well as your kitchen tools and a medium sized bowl.

Creamy Tuna Pasta Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 cup uncooked small pasta
  • 1 can flaked tuna in water
  • 1/2 stalk celery
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) chives
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) shredded cheese
  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) low-fat mayo
  • 1/4 tsp (1.25 ml) each salt & pepper



Cook the pasta according to package directions, drain, hold under cold running water to cool down, and allow to drain completely.


Place the cooked and cooled pasta into the medium sized bowl.


Open and drain the can of tuna.


Add the tuna flakes to the creamy tuna salad bowl, with the pasta.


Dice up the celery and add to the creamy tuna salad bowl.


Slice up the chives.


Add the chives to the creamy tuna pasta bowl.


Shred the cheese and add it to the creamy tuna salad bowl.


Add the may, salt & pepper and stir well to blend everything together.

Cover and refrigerate til serving.
