Cold Spinach Dip Recipe

This Cold Spinach Dip Recipe is one of my favourites. It is a quick and easy to prepare recipe and tastes just right. It is also very versatile. This dip can be served with crackers, bread or vegetables.




Gather up the cold spinach dip ingredients and any tools you will need for this recipe.


Dip Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 ml)  mayonnaise
  • 1 cup (240 ml)  sour cream
  • 3/4 tsp of garlic powder or garlic paste
  • 1 pkg  frozen spinach – thawed  OR 1 pkg fresh spinach - cooked
  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml)  dried dill (optional)



The longest part is preparing the spinach.

If you are using fresh spinach - you will need to chop it up and cook it. For frozen spinach - just let it thaw.

This step is a must or else your dip will be watery and runny.


Blend the mayonnaise with the sour cream and garlic.


Add the squeeze dried spinach to the dip recipe.


Blend all together. Serve your dip recipe right away or cover and refrigerate to keep it cold.
