Berries and Yogurt Parfaits
Simple and Nutritious

These Berries and Yogurt Parfaits are made with fresh sweet berries, wholesome granola and vanilla yogurt. A great taste combination.

A perfect dessert, breakfast or snack.

These parfaits can be made ahead and kept in the refrigerator.





Recipe for Berries & Yogurt Parfaits

Ingredients:

. 2 containers straw berries

. 2 containers black berries

. 1 bag or box of granola

. 2 large containers vanilla yogurt OR  1 kg bag of vanilla yogurt

. 8 dessert bowls, containers or parfaits

Method:

Prepare the berries. This can be done the day before.

Place a small assortment of each type in the bottom of every container or bowl.


Cover these with 3 tbsp (45 ml) of granola.


So far, they should like this.


Add 2/3 cup (160 ml) of yogurt.


Now layer another 4 tbsp (60 ml) of granola.


Divide the remaining berries equally among the 8 containers.


Dessert parfaits are now ready.

These berries & yogurt parfaits will keep (refrigerated) for 2 - 3 days, however the granola will become soft.
