First off, you will need to prepare the asparagus. |

Once the asparagus is cut and clean - place it in a microwaveable bowl with just enough water to barely cover. Microwave on high for 3 min. Drain into a colander and immediately run cold water over the asparagus pieces to stop the cooking process. Place the asparagus pieces into a medium sized bowl. |

Dice up the green onion to make 2 tbsp (30 ml) and put into a sealable jar or container. |

Measure out the remaining dressing ingredients into the jar and shake to blend it all together. |
