Mixed Fruit Recipes

I have 4 Mixed Fruit Recipes on this page to enliven your senses, any time of year. Some use more exotic mixed fruit and others use more common fruit. It can be mixed it up any way you choose to take advantage of seasonal bargains.

Mixed fruit recipes are always a welcome dessert or breakfast treat, OR snack, especially in the hot summer months.

Nearly any mixed combination of a few different fruit can be used in a fruit salad recipe.

Try one simple mixed fruit salad recipe or try them all.

It's going to be a long hot summer.



•1 cup (240 ml) diced pineapple

•1 cup (240 ml) diced cantaloupe

•1 cup (240 ml) diced honeydew

•1 cup (240 ml) diced watermelon

•1/2 cup (120 ml) sliced strawberries

•1/2 cup (120 ml) blueberries

•1/2 cup (120 ml) green seedless grapes

•1/2 cup (120 ml) red seedless grapes



Substitute the following ingredients:

• diced apple

• diced banana

• grapefruit sections - halved

• orange or mandarin sections

• sliced strawberries

• red seedless grapes

• green seedless grapes

• shredded coconut



Substitute the following ingredients:

- papaya - diced

- pineapple - diced

- kiwi - peeled & thinly sliced

- mandarin sections

- red seedless grapes

- green seedless grapes

- blueberries

- slivered almonds



Substitute the following ingredients:

- avocado - diced

- mango - diced

- asian pear - diced

- lychee - peeled & pitted

- red seedless grapes

- green seedless grapes

- strawberries - quartered

- slivered almonds


Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl. Serve chilled

Yield: These mixed fruit salads serve 4 based on 1 1/2 cups per person


You can serve these mixed fruit salads in a bowl or in wine glasses.

These can be served “as is” or can be dressed with a topping.
