BLT Wedge Salad
BLT = Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato

This BLT Wedge Salad is quick and easy to prepare. With only 3 ingredients and not much cutting, it can be ready in no time.

Great idea for unexpected company or a super fast simple lunch. Everyone enjoys BLT.

Don't forget that this BLT salad is eaten with a knife and fork - so the eater does the work - not you.

If you've got some precooked bacon handy or even bacon bits will do, then this BLT salad is even quicker to prepare. I almost always have cooked bacon handy in my frig.

BLT Wedge Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1/2 head of iceberg lettuce (also known as crisp head)
  • 4 slices cooked bacon
  • grapes tomatoes or 1 medium tomatoes cut into wedge shapes

Prepare the head of lettuce by coring and washing.

Cut the head in half from top to bottom and then into wedge quarters.

If the head is really large - you may want to cut it again to make the wedge smaller.

If the grape tomatoes are large - you may want to half them - but it is not necessary.

Place the wedge of Iceberg on a small plate, and arrange the BLT so that it looks presentable.

Serve your BLT wedge with a creamy dressing such as Ranch, Blue Cheese, Thousand Island, or French

BLT Wedge Recipe Yield:

This recipe for BLT Wedge serves 2 but it can be easily doubled.
