This Ambrosia Fruit Salad Recipe has 5 varieties of fresh fruit. It's like eating a fresh fruit salad with an Ambrosia dressing.

We are lucky that in this day and age, we can purchase fresh fruit year-round at our local grocers.

That means we can make this Ambrosia Fruit Salad year-round.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) of each of the following:
  • watermelon cubes
  •  pineapple cubes
  •  kiwi half slices
  •  orange pieces
  •  honeydew melon cubes
  • 3 cups (240 ml) of shredded unsweetened coconut
  • 3 cups (240 ml) of mini marshmallows
  • 3 cups (240 ml) vanilla yogurt

If you plan on buying whole fresh fruit - you will need to know how to prepare it.

Cut up the watermelon into bite-size cubes.

Peel core and cut up the pineapple

Peel and slice the kiwi, then cut each slice in half.

Peel and section the orange, then cut each section in half.

Peel, remove seeds and cube the honeydew melon

Be aware that you will have lots of fresh fruit left over. This can be used in other salad recipes or eaten with a dip.

Alternatively, if you don't want a lot of left-overs - you can purchase fresh cut fruit, in small quantities, in the produce department of your grocery store.
